VINEGAR SLAW 
1 lg. cabbage head
2 bell peppers
2 lg. onion (purple if you have them)
1 jar pimentos, diced

Shred cabbage, dice bell peppers and cut onions in rings. Drain pimentos. Put peppers, onions and pimentos all on top of cabbage. Mix:

1 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt

Boil for 1 minutes. Pour over cabbage. Let set overnight or 4 hours. Keep air tight. Toss just before serving. Put in refrigerator.
