FRIED BLUEBERRY TARTS 
Fresh blueberries
Canned biscuits
Sugar
butter
Shortening
Sk illet

On working surface put about 1 cup flour, you need to keep replenishing flour as you work. Put biscuit in flour, roll out to very thin circle. Shake excess flour from dough. Moisten outside edges of dough with butter.

Put 1/3 to 1/2 cup blueberries on bottom half of dough. Add small pat of butter and 1 tsp. sugar. Fold dough in half. Press edges together with fork. It's best to make all the tarts before you begin cooking. Butter flavored shortening makes tarts taste better. Fry on medium heat until golden brown. Best while hot.
