CORNBREAD WITH BUTTERMILK | |
1 egg 3/4 c. meal 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 c. buttermilk 2 tbsp. shortening (melted) or Wesson oil Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. To double recipe, double everything EXCEPT use only 1 egg. |
