TATER TOT CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 tsp. salt 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 lb. grated American cheese 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 lb. tater tots (thawed) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef, salt, onion, and pepper in a 1 quart saucepan until meat is brown. Drain grease off. Stir in soup and 1/2 can of water. Heat and stir until hot. Grease a 2 quart casserole pan. Put about half the tater tots into the casserole. Pour the beef mixture over tater tots. Sprinkle half the cheese over the beef mixture. Layer the remaining tater tots on the casserole. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are brown. Top with remaining cheese. Set back in oven until cheese melts. |
