RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. nuts, chopped

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, salt, vanilla and nuts; mix. Make small balls. Bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown. Roll in powdered sugar if desired. NOTE: May be topped with candied fruit.
