TOMATO DUMPLINGS 
1 can tomatoes, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. crushed basil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Combine tomatoes and other ingredients in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Using your favorite clumping recipe, drop into the tomato mixture as it boils. Cook until dumplings are done. Serve hot.
