POTATO CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes 3/4 stick butter, melted 1/2 c. onions, diced 8 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup 1/2 c. sour cream 2 c. corn flakes, crushed 3/4 stick butter, melted Mix potatoes, melted butter, and onions in a bowl. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Spread potato mixture in dish. Cover with cheese. Mix soup and sour cream; cover the layer of cheese. Mix corn flakes with melted butter and place on top. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour. |
