CHUNKY POTATO SOUP | |
6 slices bacon, cut up 1 lg. chopped onion 2 stalks celery, chopped 1 (16 oz.) can whole potatoes, chopped 1 can condensed chicken broth 1/2 c. water 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 c. milk In 3 quart saucepan, fry bacon until crisp. Remove from pan, drain on paper towel. Drain fat from pan (except for 2 tablespoons). Fry onion and celery until tender. Stir in potatoes, broth, water, pepper and heat to boiling. Let simmer 10 minutes. Stir in milk and bacon. Heat just until hot. |
