2 c. butter
1 c. confectioners sugar
4 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. quick oats

Mix well all ingredients. Form into 2-inch logs. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Ice when cool.
