HOMEMADE PEACH ICE CREAM | |
4 c. peaches, chopped 1 c. sugar Pour 1 cup sugar over peaches and let set for a while. 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 3 eggs, beaten 1 qt. milk 1/2 pt. whipping cream (unwhipped) 1 tbsp. vanilla Combine sugar, flour and salt, add eggs. Blend well. Cook slowly until slightly thickened. Let cool, add unwhipped cream, vanilla, milk, and peaches. Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze. Makes 1 gallon. |
