MOM'S CRAZY CABBAGE 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 head cabbage
1 lg. can tomatoes
3 strips bacon
Salt and pepper

Brown ground beef and chopped onion in skillet, set aside. Chop cabbage and place half in bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle meat over cabbage and then top with remaining cabbage. Pour the can of tomatoes over meat and cabbage mixture. Top with bacon, salt and pepper. Cover dish with foil and bake 3 hours at 325 to 350 degrees.
