CABBAGE BURGER BAKE 
2 lbs. cabbage, shredded (8 c.)
1 med. onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
1 c. rice, uncooked
6 slices bacon
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 (15 oz.) can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
3 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Spread half of shredded cabbage in a 3-quart greased baking dish. Saute bacon in skillet until fat starts to cook out, drain. Stir onion and rice into bacon drippings. Cook until onion is soft, rice slightly brown. Spoon over cabbage in baking dish.

Brown ground meat, spoon over rice mixture. Add salt and pepper. Top with remaining cabbage, add water and heat spaghetti sauce. Pour over cabbage. Top with bacon slices. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes.
