GREEN BEAN BURGER BAKE 
4 slices of bacon
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 c. sour cream
2 pkgs. frozen green beans
1 pkg. dried onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms, drained

Dice and brown bacon. Remove from skillet, drain. Combine ground beef, crumbs, egg, salt and 1/2 cup sour cream. Mix lightly. Shape into 12 balls and brown in bacon drippings. Cook beans until just tender and drain. Combine remaining ingredients with rest of sour cream. Toss lightly with beans and bacon. Spoon into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Top with meatballs. Bake covered for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Instead of 12 meatballs I make bite sized and cover the top of the green bean mixture. Love it!!! I like a bite of meat every time I take a bite of green beans.
