JELLO SALAD WITH TOPPING 
2 pkg. orange Jello
2 c. hot water
1 c. fruit juice
2 cans mandarin oranges
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. small marshmallows

Prepare Jello with hot water and 1 cup fruit juice. Stir in fruit and marshmallows. Chill until firm.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. fruit juice
2 tbsp. butter
Pinch salt
1/2 pt. cream, whipped

Mix first 6 ingredients and cook until consistency of mayonnaise, stirring constantly. Cool. Stir in whipped cream and spread on top of firm Jello.
