HOT COUNTRY BISCUITS | |
2 c. self-rising flour 1/4 c. shortening About 3/4 c. milk Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut shortening into flour until like fine crumbs. Add milk and stir. Turn dough onto floured, covered board. Knead until smooth. Roll dough out about 1/2 inch thick and cut. Place onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 12 to 14 biscuits. |
