DATE ROLL COOKIES 
1 (16 oz.) cream cheese
1 lb. butter
3 c. flour

Mix and refrigerate.

FILLING:

1 (16 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Cook until soft.

Roll dough cut into 3 inch triangles add 1/2 teaspoon filling on triangles. Then fold into crescents.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

If desired roll in powdered sugar or icing. Top with nuts or cherries.
