WHEAT GERM WAFFLES 
3 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
3 tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. wheat germ
4 c. milk
2/3 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs, separated

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in wheat germ. Combine milk, oil and egg yolks and beat thoroughly. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and beat to make a smooth batter. Fold in egg whites; small flecks of egg white will show in the batter. Bake until golden brown in a waffle iron. Makes about 18 (7") waffles.
