WHOLE WHEAT WAFFLES II 
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. wheat germ
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. Puritan oil
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 egg whites, beaten

Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Add oil and milk to egg whites and toss lightly with dry ingredients until combined. Do not beat. Heat waffle iron and pour on batter. Serve with applesauce. Makes two servings.
