COMPANY BEEF STEW 
3 lb. sirloin tips, cut in cubes
3 lg. carrots, sliced
1 (#2) can tomatoes (20 oz.)
1 can tiny peas
1 can green beans or fresh
1 can white potatoes or fresh
1 sm. can onions or fresh
Limas (optional)
1/2 c. consomme beef
1/2 c. white wine
4 tbsp. minute tapioca
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. prepared bread crumbs
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
Pepper

Place all ingredients in large roasting pan with lid or Dutch oven. Pour off all juices except tomato. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 7 hours.
