SWEET PICKLE STICKS | |
Wash cukes (don't peel). Cut into sticks. Pour boiling water over them. Let stand 4-5 hours. Drain and pack. BRINE: Boil 5 minutes: 3 tbsp. canning salt 4 1/2 tsp. turmeric 3 c. sugar 4 1/2 tsp. celery seed 3/4 tsp. mustard seed Process 5 minutes in a water bath. Makes approximately 6 pints. |
