2 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1/2 lb. butter
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
24 marshmallows
4 c. Special K cereal
1/2 c. nuts (opt.)
Gum drops, cut up (opt.)

Cook Karo syrup, butter, sugars, and vanilla in pan until well blended. Add marshmallows. Stir constantly until marshmallows are melted, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add cereal and nuts. Put in a greased pan until cool. For the holidays, add some cut up gum drops to the mixture and put in a bundt or angel food pan.
