BANANA CREAM PIE 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 pinch of salt
2 1/2 c. milk (add gradually)
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg yolks
2 sliced bananas

Cook sugar, flour, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks, and milk until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla; let cool. Then add bananas. Place mixture into a 9 inch baked pie shell. Top with meringue and brown.

MERINGUE:

Beat 3 egg whites until it forms soft peaks. Add 2-3 tablespoons sugar.
