4 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
Lemon juice
Nonpareils or sprinkles

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream shortening and sugar. Add 4 eggs and vanilla. Mix at low speed on portable mixture. Gradually add flour and baking powder. Shape into one inch balls. Bake 8-10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.

For Glaze: Add lemon juice to 1 cup confectioners' sugar until consistency is a fairly thick liquid. Dip cooled cookies into glaze and top with nonpareils.
