ELSA'S TOMATO RELISH 
4 qt. ripe tomatoes, peeled & cut up
1 qt. onions
8-10 pods green hot peppers

Cook until tender

3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. allspice

Put tomato and pepper in pot. Start cooking. Peel onions and add to boiling mixture. Cook about 10 minutes to 15 minutes. Then add next 6 ingredients. Cook about 45 minutes to 1 hour at low heat. Put in jars and seal.
