SAWDUST SALAD 
2 sm. or 1 lg. Jello (peach or orange)
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 pkg. instant vanilla pie filling
1 sm. pkg. miniature marshmallows
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lg. container Cool Whip
1 c. Cheddar cheese

Mix Jello like directions on box. Let jell. Add drained pineapple; spread over Jello. Next, add vanilla instant pudding that has been mixed with 1 1/2 cups cold milk. Spread on top of pineapple. Add marshmallows to this, pressing down into pie filling.

To Cool Whip, add softened cream cheese and chopped nuts. Spread over mixture. Top this with grated Cheddar cheese. Chill until firm.
