Mix:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
1 c. milk
2 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butternut meats
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients and place into a tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees until cake tests done by placing a cake tester into cake and it comes out dry.
