FARM COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c. corn flakes
2 c. oats (rolled)
1 tsp. each of salt, baking soda, baking powder
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
1/2 c. chopped dates

Cream Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to above. Stir in oatmeal, corn flakes, coconut, nuts, cherries and dates. Mix well. Roll into balls, press down with thumb onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes about 4 dozen nice-sized.
