“CRANBERRY SHORTCAKE” IS IN:

CRANBERRY SHORTCAKE 
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons shortening
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
Ten-Minute Cranberry Sauce

Sift dry ingredients, work in shortening and add milk. Roll out, cut to make two layers for cake pan.

Place one layer in pan, spread with melted butter, cover with second layer.

Bake in very hot oven, 450°F. for about 20 minutes.

Place Ten-Minute Cranberry Sauce between layers and on top.

Serve hot with whipped cream.
