ARTICHOKE SOUP 
1 stick butter
1 c. green onions
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can chicken broth
1 can artichoke hearts
1 c. whipping cream
2 bay leaves

Remove artichoke hearts from can, drain water and cut in bite-size pieces. Melt butter in deep skillet or pot. Add green onions and saute for 3 minutes. Add flour and blend together; do not brown. Add bay leaf, cayenne pepper, salt and chicken broth and mix together. Add artichoke hearts and cook together for 10 minutes. Add whipping cream and serve.
