6 to 8 potatoes, sliced in thick slices or chunks (if using new potatoes, do not peel)
1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
1 pkg. onion soup

Mix butter, water and onion soup. Pour over potatoes and cover with foil.

Bake 1 hour at 350°F or until done.
