BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. Bisquick or Jiffy mix
1 c. ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 55 minutes or until toothpick clean.
