1 pkg. cake mix, any flavor
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 carton half and half cream
4 egg yolks

Mix and bake the cake according to directions on the box. Let it cool. Leave the baked cake in the pan and mash it with a fork.

Combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, half and half, and egg yolks and beat until the mixture is foamy. Pour the mixture over the mashed cake. Let it rest until the entire mixture is absorbed by the cake.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 5 or 10 minutes until done. Let it cool and decorate the top with whipped cream and top with cherries or chipped candies. Serves 20.

Another way to make the topping. Whip the egg whites until foamy, add 3 drops of lemon juice and sugar to taste. Pour over the cake and bake until the topping is brown. Be sure to refrigerate this cake, if any is left over.
