1 c. flour 1 c. rolled oats 3/4 c. finely shredded coconut 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1 tbsp. maple syrup 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 tbsp. boiling water Sift flour; add rolled oats, coconut and sugar. Put butter and syrup into pan; stir over low heat until melted. Mix baking soda with water. Add to melted butter; stir into dry ingredients. Put heaping teaspoons onto greased baking sheets; allow room to spread. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove to cooling racks. Yield: 3 dozen. |
