FRENCH SILK PIE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 oz. (1 sq.) melted unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Pie crust (see recipe below)

PIE CRUST:

1 pkg. graham crackers (usually 1/3 of a whole box)
1/4 c. butter, melted

CRUST: Crush crackers with a rolling pin until very fine. Add butter. Press into pie pan.

PIE: Beat butter until fluffy. Beat in sugar. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Add one egg, beat for 3 minutes. Add second, beat for another 3 minutes. Pour into pie crust. Chill in refrigerator. Can be served with whipped cream.

COMMENTS: This is a rich pie, so cut small pieces. It is an easy dessert to make for unexpected company.
