BROILED PEACHES 
6 lg. canned peach halves
6 tsp. butter
Ground cloves
3 tbsp. peach syrup

Arrange peach halves in an 8" or 9" pie plate, cut side up. Put one teaspoon butter and a dash of cloves in the cavity of each. Pour syrup into the pie plate around peaches. Broil in oven broiler until peaches have browned lightly, about 10 minutes. Serve with meat.
