SWEET AND SOUR BAKED CHICKEN | |
1/2 c. water 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut in serving pieces 1 env. Lipton tomato-onion mix Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In medium saucepan, combine Lipton tomato mix, brown sugar, water, vinegar, and pineapple. Bring to boil, then simmer, stirring constantly until sauce is slightly thickened, 5 minutes. Arrange chicken in baking dish; bake 30 minutes. Pour sauce, over chicken; bake, basting occasionally, an additional 30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Makes 4 servings. |
