PUMPKIN DESSERT 
1 box yellow cake mix with pudding
1 egg
1/2 c. melted butter

FILLING:

3 eggs
2/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lg. can (29 oz.) pumpkin

TOPPING:

1 c. saved cake mixture
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. melted butter

Mix cake mix with egg and butter. Set aside 1 cup of mixture for topping. Press remaining mixture into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix filling, add or omit other pie spices (ginger, nutmeg, cloves) to taste. Pour filling over cake mixture. Mix topping ingredients and drop in small pieces over filling. If desired, sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Bake approximately 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool, serve with Cool Whip.
