GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
12 potatoes
2 medium onions
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. mustard
Salt and pepper
1/2 - 1 lb. bacon
1 c. vinegar
4 eggs, beaten

Cook potatoes in jacket and cut up when cooled in large bowl. Cut onions and put in potatoes; spread sugar, salt, and pepper over potatoes. Cut bacon in pieces and fry (not crisp). Drain most of the grease off, except 1 tablespoon. Combine beaten eggs and vinegar and mustard. Beat these together. Cook sauce on low and stir until thickened. Pour over potatoes. Do not refrigerate.
