3 (1 oz. ea.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter
3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar, divided
1 egg
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Put chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add half of sugar to melted chocolate. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add remaining sugar and nuts.

Remove from heat and press into a pan lined with waxed paper. Chill.

Cut in desired pieces and serve.
