LEMON POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream together sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time. Alternate flour, milk, and flavoring. Whip until creamy. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

ICING:

1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
4 tbsp. hot water
1 tbsp. lemon flavor

Mix together and spread on cake.
