1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
1 (11 oz.) pkg. chocolate kisses
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream sugars, shortening, peanut butter. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to first mixture. Beat well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in additional sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes, remove and place candy in center. Return to oven for 3 minutes longer in a 350 degree oven.
