RAISIN BREAD | |
3 pkgs. yeast 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 c. raisins 1 3/4 c. warm milk (low fat) 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 3 tsp. cinnamon 5 c. bread flour Stir yeast in warm water. Add to heavy duty mixer 3 tablespoons oil, warm milk, sugar and the salt. Mix in yeast and flour with the 3 teaspoons cinnamon. Mix and add raisins last. Turn out on floured board and knead several minutes. Cover dough with plastic wrap and towel. Let rise until doubled (1 1/2 to 2 hours). Roll out into 3 loaves. Put in three greased pans. Let rise in warm place for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Take out of pans and brush with melted butter. |
