FUDGE BROWNIES 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt your butter, then add all other ingredients in order listed. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven. Have frosting ready to pour on when you remove the brownies from the oven.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. buttermilk or milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine first 3 ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients, mixing until creamy. Frost brownies immediately upon removing from oven. Cut into squares when cooled. NOTE: These brownies are delicious with or without the frosting.
