SQUASH PICKLES 
8 c. thin-sliced squash
4 sliced bell peppers
2 c. sliced onions
3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 tbsp. celery seeds
2 tbsp. pickling spice (in cloth bag)
Salt to taste

Mix vegetables and salt - set aside 1 hour. Mix other ingredients and bring to a hard boil. Add bag and spice. Put vegetables in and bring back to a hard boil. Can.
