SEVEN LAYER SUPPER | |
1 layer raw potatoes, sliced 1 layer raw onions, sliced 1 layer raw carrots, sliced 1/4 c. regular uncooked rice 1 (15 oz.) green peas 1 lb. pork sausage 1 (10 oz.) cream of tomato soup 1 can water Salt & pepper to taste Grease electric skillet; add potatoes, onions, and carrots stacked on top of each other. These may be arranged in a circle. In center add rice and peas. Place sausages in wheel spoke pattern on peas. Pour soup and water over entire dish. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender and sausage are done. This makes a very low cost meal. Pork chops can be substituted for sausages. |
