FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
8 oz. dates, cut in sm. pieces
1 c. nuts, chopped (pecans)
1 c. raisins
1 lb. mixed fruit
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Dredge above in flour.

2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter, sugar, add other ingredients - beat. Mix dry ingredients. Add to above, add fruit and nuts. Roll into small balls and use fork to press cookie. Bake at 375 degrees for 18 minutes. Makes approximately 7 dozen.
