BESSIE HOTTOIS' WINE DROP
COOKIES
 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. raisins

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix until well blended with electric mixer. Dough will be sticky. Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees about 8 minutes. 4 dozen.
