POLISH COLE SLAW 
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
7 c. shredded cabbage (about 1 lb.)
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. pepper
Paprika

In small pan, stir together corn syrup, vinegar, sugar, butter, salt and pepper. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Pour over cabbage and toss. Chill at least 1 hour. Toss with mayonnaise to taste just before serving. Sprinkle with paprika.
