CARAMEL CHEWS 
CRUST:

3/4 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. melted butter

FILLING:

3/4 c. white syrup
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter

FROSTING:

4 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix crust ingredients, place in bottom of 9"x13" pan and bake for 15 minutes.

Boil 3/4 cup white syrup and 1/4 cup sugar, then add 3/4 cup peanut butter. Spread on crust and cool.

FROSTING: Boil 4 tablespoons milk, 4 tablespoons butter and 1 cup sugar. Add chocolate chips. Beat and spread on bars.
