SCALLOPED POTATOES 
10 1/2 oz. can condensed cream of celery or mushroom soup
3/4 c. milk
Dash of pepper
4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
1 med. onion, thinly sliced
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease 2-quart casserole. Blend soup, milk and pepper. Arrange alternate layers of potatoes, onion and cheese in casserole dish. Pour soup mixture over all and dot with butter. Cover and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove cover and bake for 15 minutes longer or until tender.
